From June 21-22, the EAC2024 Yimao Automobile Industry Conference and Yimao Automobile Industry Exhibition held successfully at Suzhou International Expo Center. As a leading company in the FMCW 4D LiDAR field, LuminWave was invited to this conference and discussed the cutting-edge technology development trends and productization paths of vehicle-mounted FMCW LiDAR with industry experts.
During the exhibition, LuminWave showed its vehicle-mounted FMCW 4D LiDAR product F1 and the industrial-grade high-precision FMCW LiDAR HP series products. Besides, we displayed two independently designed and integrated optical module products for the first time. Both optical module products adopt an integrated design scheme for the transmission and reception of signals, achieving coaxial measurement of single and multi-channel parallel FMCW transmission and reception signals, which attracted the attention and discussion of many customers.
At the conference, Dr. Sun Xiaochen, the founder and Chief Technology Officer of LuminWave, delivered a speech titled “The Industrial Road of Silicon Photonic Chip FMCW 4D LiDAR”. He deeply analyzed the development trajectory and future trends of FMCW 4D LiDAR technology based on silicon photonic chip integration, shared the R&D progress of LuminWave in chip-level FMCW LiDAR products, and elaborated on the view that LiDAR is the airbag for autonomous driving safety, and analyzed the importance of LiDAR for the safe perception of autonomous driving and assisted driving.
At the award ceremony, LuminWave won the “Technology Pioneer Award” for its independently developed F series FMCW 4D LiDAR. This honor is not only a recognition of LuminWave’s profound strength in the field of vehicle-mounted LiDAR but also a high praise for the company’s continuous innovation and promotion of industry development.
