From July 8th to 10th, Vision China (Shanghai) 2024 was grandly held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, gathering nearly 300 industry leaders to jointly explore the innovation and development of machine vision technology. At the exhibition booth, LuminWave’s D3C-RGBD fused became the focus of the whole venue. This camera integrates a high-definition RGB module with advanced ToF technology, has millimeter-level measurement accuracy, and can achieve synchronized output of RGB images and ToF images. In addition, it also has high-precision edge segmentation technology and accurate point cloud color matching function, capable of handling various application scenarios such as robotic arm sorting, safety protection area monitoring, and unloading and stacking.
It is worth mentioning that LuminWave demonstrated on-site recognition of tire hubs, a typical black and highly reflective industrial part, with the D3C-RGBD fused and showed excellent results. It instantly generated clear, delicate, and accurate point cloud data, presenting a realistic three-dimensional shape. At the same time, the other 3D industrial cameras exhibited by LuminWave also attracted a lot of attention. This series of cameras is based on the Sony DepthSense technology, with excellent VGA depth resolution and strong anti-ambient light interference capabilities.

The series has high precision (the micro-distance product can reach the um level), high resolution, and high frame rate (Khz sampling frequency) as its core advantages. It is particularly worth mentioning that its long-distance products can achieve excellent detection capabilities of more than 100 meters, providing strong technical support for industrial high-precision positioning, high-precision measurement, and automatic driving, assisted driving, and other scenarios. The HP series FMCW LiDAR is based on laser Doppler measurement technology, which can achieve sub-millimeter ranging accuracy in fast-moving objects such as elevators and stackers, effectively suppressing interference from stray light and welding arc light in the environment.
